Happy 100th, Maserati!
Last year we celebrated 100 years of Aston Martin, this year we’ve got the 100th anniversary of Maserati with a year-long celebration under the theme, “The Opposite of Ordinary.” The Italian automobile company launched a dedicated centennial website, www.maserati100.com, along with a commemorative logo (below).

As the countdown begins to the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia next month, the occasion marks the 90th anniversary of the Winter Olympics. Back in 1924, just 258 athletes competed in 16 sports in the French resort town of Chamonix at what was then called “I Olympic Winter Games.”
