When Tottenham Hotspur footballer Gareth Bale scores a goal, he celebrates by putting his hands together in the shape of a heart. Now Bale may be scoring some merchandise deals with that heart-shaped gesture since he filed trademark applications in the UK for “Eleven of Hearts” and a heart-shaped logo with his jersey number (11) in the center.

Bale’s trademark applications cover jewelry, leather goods, clothing, footwear, and headgear. According to ESPN, Nigel Currie, Director of Sports Marketing at brandRapport said: “The possibilities are huge for Gareth Bale … A third of his overall income could be made from his image rights, potentially up to £3 million a year.”
