That “new” Apple iOS6 clock design issue has now been settled. As we wrote earlier, Apple’s new iPad operating system included a clock that resembled a 1944 design commonly seen in Swiss railway stations. The clock design trademark happened to belong to the Swiss Federal Railway Service (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen or SBB).
Fortune reported that the two companies have now reached an agreement with Apple licensing the design from SBB. Terms of the deal weren’t made public.
