Last year people wondered what Anheuser-Busch In-Bev was going to do with trademark registrations for U.S. area codes. And now the company’s completed a new set of trademark registrations that have been reported in the news. What trademark registrations have they registered recently? The answer: U.S. airport codes.

No word yet on what plans the brewing company has for the marks. Last summer Anheuser-Busch registered 15 numerical character marks in International Class 32 (beer) that matched the area codes of major U.S. cities. The company had earlier purchased a Chicago company called Goose Island Brewery, the makers of a beer called 312 Urban Wheat Ale.
