This Week in Louis Vuitton Pattern Imitations: Geek Chic

by T+B Blog Team on March 20, 2012

Thanks to Gizmodo, we have a quick add-on to our Louis Vuitton logo story from last week. In addition to U Penn’s imitation Vuitton “toile monogram” used in its IP conference marketing material, now there’s a nerd version of the iconic pattern being used on t-shirts.

Available on Threadless, this version of the pattern replaces the famous “LV” initials with mathematical symbols (like π), a power button, and a four-way controller. It’s called “Geek Chic.”

If there are any t-shirts left by the time you’re reading this — you can take a look here.
